CIBJO’S “THE RETAILERS GUIDE TO DIAMOND JEWELLERY” LAUNCHED
15 March 2007 found at diamondintelligence.com
Jonathan Kendall, Vice President of the CIBJO Marketing and Education Commission, has launched The Retailers Guide to Marketing Diamond Jewellery. The launch of the guide demonstrates the Marketing and Education Commission’s clear focus for 2007 – to support jewelry retailers by giving them the tools to compete with the best of the luxury world.
The Retailers Guide to Marketing Diamond Jewellery will provide jewelry retailers with a comprehensive guide on how they can get the most success in marketing their business. The guide:
Provides practical and applicable ideas that will assist jewelry retailers in marketing their jewelry store.
Provides detailed case studies detailing the practices of other jewelry retailers.
Provides and demonstrates effective business tools to develop their business.
“The launch of this guide marks an important step for CIBJO and in particular the Marketing and Education Commission. When we met last year in Vancouver we agreed we needed a sharper focus and to really deliver for our members. With The Retailers Guide to Marketing Diamond Jewellery I am confident we have,” explains Kendall.
In addition to launching the guide Kendall delivered a presentation that acknowledges the challenges and pressures the jewelry industry is facing but highlights the enormous opportunity jewelry has to compete with other luxury goods. At the same time he called on the entire jewelry industry to provide their input to drive jewelry forward as a sector.
“It is crucial that we work together as a sector to deliver even greater retailing success over the coming years,” concludes Kendall.
