It is stretchy, break resistant, and not not at all fussy. All you need to do to make a bracelet with Stretch Magic is slip on the beads and tie off the ends. The price for a container of Stretch Magic is around three dollars, and the elastic cord comes in many different widths. Personally I prefer to use thinner elastic cord when I make bracelets with seed beads, and thicker elastic cord when I use heavier glass beads.

Beading wire is an ideal product to use for making simple necklaces. There are many different types of beading wire to choose from, but one that I really like at the moment is The Beadery beading wire in the color silver. This beading wire sells for around three dollars and is very durable. I have used The Beadery beading wire with some very heavy beads and pendants and it has held up very well. For a bargain this beading wire is a good investment for those starting to build their cache of jewelry making supplies.

Do you like shell beads? The Fashion Natural Beach Party pack is ideal for those who would like to make jewelry with a tropical theme. I bought the The Beach Party package of shell and wood beads for around nine dollars, and I used one of the shells as a makeshift pendant. Shell beads are versatile and can mixed and matched with many other types of beads.

Another one of my favorite types of beads are seed beads because these make wonderful accents. Also, I enjoy using seed beads as stand alone pieces when I am beading simple and elegant necklaces. Most seed beads are pretty similar and I usually buy which ever type is on sale at the crafting store. When crafting stores have bargain sales on beads I have picked up packages of seed beads for around two dollars a piece. This week I plan on going to Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft stores because I noticed their website says there will be a forty percent off sale on beads, which means I can replenish some of the colors of seed beads I have ran out of. Seed beads are always good to have on hand because on many necklaces I use these as spacer beads between the larger beads.
