Men Do Not Need More Information About buying Diamonds, Gemologist Says he only needs one video

 "When a man is getting ready to buy a diamond, he does not need more information," says Graduate Gemologist Kim Shaffer. "He needs to be able to see for himself what really matters in selecting a diamond. Our Diamond Buying Guide video can show him what matters far better than any text could ever explain it."

Kim Shaffer is not selling diamonds. He is a consumer advocate, and he has just made his Diamond Buying Guide video available to the public, via the Internet, free of charge. He says, "People can use what they learn from this video to buy a diamond from their local jeweler with more confidence or to buy a diamond online."

"This video shows diamonds in ways they have never been shown before. Using micro cinematography, it shows many examples of diamonds people will be offered, but should avoid. The shortcomings of such diamonds have a very negative impact on beauty and value. In effect, this video gives people a chance to practice looking at diamonds in advance of shopping for one."

Mr. Shaffer, the writer, producer, and host of the 50-minute video, was trained in residence at the Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, now located in Carlsbad, California. He has had more than 20 years of experience in the jewelry trade. He has worked in retail, in wholesale, and with estate jewelry in the antiques business.
